A competitive field of 390 runners gathered in beautiful spring conditions for the Bluebell Trail in Stainland on 5 May. Dan Cobb and Philip Brown led the Baildon team home over the demanding course while John Crabtree (who showed scorching speed at the finish), Jim Goddard and Neil Fairburn were in the thick of the action throughout. Neil's run keeps him at the top of the individual league and Baildon still leads the team table.
Coming up, the Apperley Bridge Canter is on 23 May while the Wharfedale marathon and half-marathon on 1 June offer not only double
points (they're Joker races) but also a great day out. Everyone's points count in the team totals.
